A jury found Sattar Armstrong guilty of 10 felony counts related to lewd acts in relation with a minor on June 4. His victims were between the ages of 9-and-12-years old, the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office said in a press release.

Armstrong was found guilty on six counts of distributing pornography to a minor, two counts of a lewd act with a minor, one count of attempted lewd acts with a child, and contacting a minor for a sexual offense. He was acquitted of one misdemeanour count of indecent exposure.

Armstrong’s actions were discovered when a relative of a victim discovered his messages and alerted law enforcement, according to the DA’s Office. He sent videos of himself doing sexual acts.

The DA’s victim advocate dog, Schroeder, calmed the victims during their testimony in interviews and court.

Armstrong will be sentenced Aug. 22 in Rancho Cucamonga Courthouse, Department R7. He faces up to 17 years in prison.
