- A couple files to be reunited with their minor granddaughter. The granddaughter has been in the custody of the state since Dec. 21, 2020, and her parents’ parental rights were terminated on Jan. 20, 2023. The grandparents' attorney told the child’s social worker that they wanted custody of their granddaughter on June 1, 2023. They later claimed they were not told their granddaughter was up for adoption.
